Human resources is and will be the most important part of any organization (startup to corporations). Attracting, managing and retaining the talent is a big challenge for any company.
For an idea to become a startup, there needs to be a team. For the startup to grow, talent continues to play an integral part. Thus, I believe the management has to ask several initial important questions in terms of human resources. What type of people they need to take the organization to the next level? What type of culture do they want to create? What will attract the talent to join their organization out of all the companies out there?
Talented people are looking for more than a salary when they consider joining one company over another. Every company has to realize that quality and skilled people will have multiple options to choose from. So what makes your idea or your organization attractive enough for people to join?
