Incessant Rain Studios

Kiran Joshi started Incessant Rain Studios in Nepal in 2007. Before opening his animation studios, Kiran Joshi rose through the animation ranks at Disney working on “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “Atlantis.” He was eventually made Disney’s head of production for several digital projects.

He dreams of introducing more of Nepal’s rich fables, fairy tales and culture into American mainstream productions. “We need to show that a company in Nepal can do stories,” he said. “That’ll really put us on the map.”
